Results for 'potassium chloride':

EXPERIMENT 1
---------------
Potassium perchlorate is only marginally soluble in cold water, while being
much more soluble in hot water. From perchloric acid solutions, one can easily
precipitate KClO4, almost quantitatively. It is funny to see how a potassium
salt precipitates so quickly and densely.

EXPERIMENT 2
---------------
Cesium alums seem to be nearly insoluble compounds.

EXPERIMENT 3
---------------
Magnesium perchlorate dissolves in acetone very well. The mix of acetone and
magnesium perchlorate does burn like normal acetone. No spectacular reaction
occurs when the solution is ignited.
